Hard to believe that the year is almost over! Amid all the holiday craziness and year-end fundraising, we have to make sure we prioritize our well-being too and practice #selfcare.

I can vividly remember my first year-end fundraising season and how stressed out I was. My work consumed my mind, and I was stressed. I didn't take the time to focus on myself or my family and friends, which was a mistake. It is entirely possible to have a set work-life balance during the busiest season for nonprofits. Do whatever you need to do to ensure you are caring for yourself properly, whether a walk during your lunch break, listening to a podcast while working, or even logging off early from work. It's so important to practice self-care. It's easier said than done, so I thought I would create a list of some products that have helped me relax.

Weighted Blanket: Especially as it's getting colder, having a nice, warm blanket with me while working from home helps me stay comfortable and concentrated.
Cup Warmer: A cup of tea or an additional cup of coffee is a must-have for me. This cup warmer helps keep my drink of choice hot throughout the day!
Sun Light: Daylight savings is the worst. The sun starts to set around 4 pm, and then my motivation to do work dwindles. This sunlight lamp motivates me through the last few hours of work.
Journal: Journaling has really helped me express my thoughts well and keep track of my feelings. Writing out how my day went is therapeutic, and I love to look back at previous journal entries.
Skin Care: A good face mask to relax at the end of the night is always a good choice.
Noise Cancelling Headphones: sometimes, you really just need to drown out the noises around you to listen to music, a podcast, or to work. Noise-canceling headphones are the best.
Subscription to the Calm app: mediate and stay stress-free
